Basically, these are trackable hashtags or key search words that people use to bring them to topics of interest. You can track these through different analytics tools on your social medias!

Most algorithms expect a mix of hashtags, sounds, and keywords within your captions to fully optimize this.

Author Highlight: M.G.

M.G is an indie author who wrote Bound to You in two weeks. Bound to You is a love after loss, office-romance that focuses on Hope, a single mom. She meets Landon and her entire life becomes a whirlwind. I read this back in January and could not decide if I needed tissues or towels. 1. Tell me about your writing process and your debut compared to your next project that is coming out. "I am a pantser for the most part. I make absolutely zero plans, just letting the voices in my head lead the way. Bound to You and Bonded Love (her next novel) were both written in a very short amount of time (2 weeks each). I rarely make an outline. If I'm lucky, I'll get an idea for a story and write out a snippet, then build a story around that.
2. What is your biggest advice to new authors? "Just do it. It's scary and unnerving, but the only way to DO it is just to do it, like Shai LeBuff said. No one is perfect on the first go around. Not SJM, not RY, not Nevessa Allen, no one. The editing process is there for a reason. I easily go through 5 drafts before publishing. If you have an idea, then run with it. Who gives a F*** what anyone else thinks? As supportive as my parents are, I know they worry this is just a phase or passing thing. Yes, I have so much fun, but I can genuinely see myself doing this for a while. And even if it is just for fun, who cares?!"
3. What has writing & publishing taught you about yourself? "Writing Bound to You healed a part of me that I didn't know I needed. So much of myself can be found in the story that it was borderline therapy for me. I joke around saying there's a piece of my soul in there, but it's true. There's so much of my own story visible for everyone to see that it's not even funny. I may not be a widow, but I grieved my relationship the same. Don't get me wrong, my relationship is strong and beautiful and perfect for us, but it's not the same as it was before kids came along. In a way, it was a death of sorts, and it's something that I grieve every now and then. Either way, it's helped me realize it's okay to grieve and miss who you were while loving who you became."
